Take twenty pala of ghee, one adhaka of water and add to it the paste prepared of one kudava of dādima, half kudava of dhānya, one pala each of chitraka and sr̥ṅgavēra and one aṣṭamikā (two karsha) of pippali and prepare ghee as per method of sneha pāka. This medicated ghee stimulates the power of digestion. It cures heart disease, anemia, gulma, hemorrhoids, spleenomegaly and disorders of vāta and kapha. It is also useful for curing asthma, bronchitis, mudha-vāta (claudication of vāta) and duhkha-prasava (difficult labour). It also helps a sterile woman to get offspring.
