The twelfth chapter of [[Siddhi Sthana]] Charak has mentioned about Uttara Tantra of [[Charak Samhita]]. So it is essential to emphasize on this issue and search the possibility of a section that has been perished in due course of time. Many controversies are raised on the existence and recognition of uttara-tantra of [[Charak Samhita]].
