As we have seen that santarpaniya vyadhis are due to excess consumption of prithvi and apa mahabhuta, those of opposing properties, i.e., akasha, teja and vayu are used in treating such ailments.

It has proved to be a very potent herb to cure erectile dysfunction and klaibyata in patients suffering from metabolic syndrome.
