• When the vitiated dosha afflict bone tissue(asthi dhatu),the tertiary fever (tritiyakajwara)is manifested. [Cha. Sa.[[ChikitsaSthana]] 3/64]

 

• In fever, when the dosha are located in bone tissue (asthigatajwara) , they cause diarrhea, vomiting, pain in the bones, production of kujana (a sort of cooing sound),convulsive movement of the body. [Cha. Sa.ChikitsaSthana 3/80]
