The knowledgeable physician should give the patients the food prepared with adding leaves of shankhini (Clitoria terneata), snuhi (Euphorbia neriifolia), trivrit (Operculina turpethum), danti (Baliospermum montanum) and chirabilva (Holoptelea integrifolia). This will soften the fecal matter and helps in emptying the bowels. If some amount of dosha is left unexpelled, then the patient is allowed to drink milk added with cow’s urine (167-168).
