A study showed good improvement in microalbuminuria in diabetic patients after therapeutic enema (basti) with ayurvedic formulation of Tribulus terrestris (gokshura) and Borrhavia diffusa (punarnava).<ref>Ramteke RS, Thakar AB, Trivedi AH, Patil PD.
